Chan is Missing - 1982 - Wayne Wang

Like Shadows or Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song Chan is Missing is an important film in the history of American independent cinema. When considering the film outside of it's historical significance, you still have an interesting plot, solid direction and competent cinematography. The one weakness that stands out is the acting which ranges from passable to awful. It is a film that is definitely worth seeing despite the faults.
