R.I.P. Satoshi Kon

Today the world lost it's greatest director of animated film. Kon was only 46 years old and had completed just four feature films and one 13 episode television series. He will be miss by the world at large but the impact that his passing will have on an ailing Japanese animation industry is massive. There are still a few other talented anime directors but Satoshi Kon made great movies for adults. The world is a little less interesting now.
