A few numbers: 311 movies watched, 306 of which were first time viewings. 30 films directed by Johnnie To, 21 solo credits and 9 split. I participated in the
March around the world challenge on Letterboxd helping lead to seeing films from 37 different countries. Hong Kong was my country most watched with 110 different movies, the US was second with 92. According to Letterboxd I spent 552 hours watching movies in 2016, just under 16 of those were spent on A Brighter Summer Day 4 times.
