The Contender - 2000 - Rod Lurie

A great cast is wasted in this preachy, unbelievable and spineless movie. The underlining message is fine but, there is no commitment. A speech by the President at the end of the film is laughable as he wags his finger at Congress for being mean during a conformation hearing.
