Cleo from 5 to 7 - 1962 - Agnes Varda
One of the early iconic films from the French New Wave, Varda's story of a woman waiting to hear if she has cancer is fascinating. As the story unfolds, in real time, we follow Cleo around Paris while she tries to come to grips with the idea that she may be dying. I have a hard time calling this film "feminist" but, it most certainly is feminine.
