Denzel can save any movie and he is very good here but the preaching is overbearing.The on the nose music cues were humorous.
Park Avenue: Mney, Power, and the American Dream - 2012 - Alex Gibney
The effect of money in American politics is an important issue and Gibney is relatively fair in his presentation of the problem. He send more time hammering the Republicans about their behavior but he gives the Democrats a few shots as well. I did not care for the framing of the issue as rich people are bad when the point he makes is that having a political system that is for sale is the problem.
Harry Dean Stanton: Partly Fiction - 2012 - Sophie Huber
A breif look into the soul of a great actor. Harry sits down with a few friends to share some stories but spends much of the movie singing.
The Search for Michael Rockefeller 2011 - Fraser Clarke Heston
Heston used footage shot in the 60's to put together this tale cultures clashing in the South Pacific. Was Rockefeller killed by one of the tribes? Probably not. He most likely drowned trying to swim to shore.
