Strong first half hour while the two females lead are in control of the action. The latter half of the picture is a let down.

Robert Mitchum plays a young doctor with the worst decision making skills in history. A patient come into the emergency room for an attempted suicide and he begins dating her.

A young lawyer for an insurance company starts acting as a middle man to recover stolen goods. At first it is an easy way to earn extra money, but playing with fire eventually gets him burned.

A Woman Without Passport - 1950 - Joseph H. Lewis
An imigration officer goes undercover in Cuba looking to chatch a smugler. During the investigation he meets a woman waiting to be brought into the United States and sparks fly. Will he stay committed to the investigation or give it up for love.

Cause for Alarm! - 1951 - Tay Garnett
A woman's sickly husband writes a letter to the district attorney acussing his wife of his murder. When he dies of a heart attack while threatening to shoot her, she must intercept the letter before it is too late.
This woman has the patience of a saint for putting up with that neighbor kid.

The Racket - 1951 - John Cromwell
Captain McQuigg (Robert Mitchum) is an hoest cop trying to work in a crocked system. Nick Scanlon (Robert Ryan) is a violent gangster whoes ways are making things difficult for his syndicate and its leaded the "old man". The two men fight it out for the heart of the seventh district.

Too Late for Tears - 1949 - Byron Haskin
Lizabeth Scott is Jane Palmer, a woman that has the American dream fall into her lap and will do whatever it takes to keep it.

99 River Street - 1953 - Phil Karlson
Former boxing contender turned cabbie Ernie Driscoll (John Payne) discovers his wife is cheating on him. Hours later he is framed for her murder by her jewel thief lover.
