Lolita - 1962 - Stanley Kubrick

Stanley Kubrick was a master of the cinema. This film shows how well he could frame shots within his trademark 1.66:1 window. Lolita takes place in a world filled with people who lack almost any redeeming value. Dolores 'Lolita' Haze is played to great effect by Sue Lyon. Peter Sellers is great as always in a small but important role. I have not read the book but, this is the better of the two movie adaptations.
